About
Cineloo is a media center written in Rust, built to run just as well on Linux as on Windows and macOS. It runs on your computer and is used from any browser, from your phone to your TV.
The program is free. For now its code is proprietary and belongs to Cineloo.org; a foundation-type structure is being considered for the future of the project.
Cineloo contains no content: it plays files you own and opens services you subscribe to. Streaming services (Netflix, Disney+…) open in their own app or website.

Movie and show posters and information come from The Movie Database (TMDB).
Other sources, all queried by cineloo.org and never directly by the app: Wikidata (CC0), Wikipedia (CC BY-SA 4.0), Wikimedia Commons (free licenses, see each file), TVmaze (CC BY-SA 4.0), MusicBrainz (CC0), Cover Art Archive, LRCLIB (lyrics), Radio Browser (radio directory), plus local .nfo files.
